Where G2E Asia sits
G2E Asia is the second-largest event in the Global Gaming Expo franchise after the Las Vegas flagship. For 2027 the show moves back to Macao and The Venetian Macao, after a single 2026 edition hosted at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore — a return that puts G2E Asia back inside Asia’s largest and most concentrated gaming market.
The Macao return matters because the venue itself is a different animal from Singapore: The Venetian Macao sits on the Cotai Strip alongside Sands China, Galaxy, Wynn Macau, and MGM Macau, putting the show floor a shuttle ride from the operators it covers rather than a one-off destination event.
Programme tracks
- Integrated resorts and land-based operations (Macau, Singapore, Philippines, Australia)
- Philippine offshore gaming operator (POGO) reform and the post-shutdown licensing landscape
- Japan integrated-resort rollout (the Osaka casino’s early operating data)
- Thailand legalisation outlook (parliamentary process ongoing)
- South Korea regulatory framework
- India regulatory uncertainty (state-by-state, plus ongoing ban litigation)
- Macau DICJ concession review and Singapore Casino Regulatory Authority enforcement
Who shows up
- Land-based operators: Sands China (The Venetian Macao), Genting (Resorts World), Galaxy Entertainment, MGM China, SJM (Macau), Wynn Macau, Star Entertainment Group (Australia)
- Online iGaming PAGCOR licensees
- Asia-focused suppliers and platform providers
- Regulators on supervisory panels, with a larger Macau DICJ presence given the home-market venue
Access and cost
Expo pass USD 295. Conference pass USD 1,095. Trade-only event with verification at registration.
VegasHunter coverage angle
We follow G2E Asia for the long-term roadmap signal: when Asian regulated markets open (Japan IR, Thailand if legalised, Taiwan), the operators that will dominate are the ones building relationships at G2E Asia in 2027. The move back to Macao sharpens that signal — expect more Macau-concession-holder announcements and cross-border Cotai Strip partnerships than the Singapore edition produced, feeding directly into our 2028-2029 expansion planning.
Por qué importa
G2E Asia's return to Macao puts the show back at the centre of Asian land-based casino operators (Genting, Galaxy, Sands China, MGM Macau) as they meet online iGaming platform suppliers and emerging-market regulators. The Philippines PAGCOR, Macau DICJ, Singapore CRA, and increasingly Thailand and Japan delegations attend.
