What ICE is

ICE (International Casino Exhibition) is the year’s flagship B2B gathering for the global iGaming industry, and 2027 marks its third consecutive edition in Barcelona since the move from London. The show runs across three days at Fira Barcelona Gran Via — a venue that accommodates the exhibitor floor at roughly 600 booths and a conference programme with more than 350 speakers across nine tracks.

The format is now firmly established in its Barcelona home: operators meet suppliers, suppliers demo product, and regulators use keynote slots to lay out the year’s enforcement priorities. What changes year to year is the regulatory backdrop — 2027’s edition follows a full year of SECAP enforcement maturing in Brazil, a third consecutive year of the German GGL’s channelisation push, and the UK’s affordability-check framework settling into routine operator practice.

Who’s going to be there

  • Tier-one operators with their commercial directors and procurement teams
  • Game studios previewing Q1 releases (Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw Gaming, Nolimit City, Push Gaming)
  • Live-dealer suppliers showing 2027 studio rollouts (Evolution, Playtech Live)
  • Payment processors with regional cashier solutions (PIX, UPI, OXXO, Trustly)
  • Regulators speaking on panels: SECAP, MGA, UKGC, GGL, ESBK, DGOJ
  • Affiliate networks signing year-long deals

How to get in

Trade-only event. Free pre-registration if you submit before the early-bird deadline (typically late December 2026). Conference passes for the speaker programme are paid (€1,295+ for the full pass in past editions). Press accreditation requires a media outlet sign-off.

VegasHunter’s coverage angle

We follow ICE for three things specifically: 1) where new operator licences land (regulators announce framework updates), 2) which game studios sign exclusive deals (informs our content pipeline), and 3) which payments providers launch in our priority markets (Brazil PIX, Mexico SPEI, India UPI).

Por qué importa

ICE is where the operators, suppliers, regulators, and affiliates all meet in person. If a deal involving the European iGaming industry is going to be signed in 2027, the conversation likely started here.
